REQUIREMENTS
- Comprehensive knowledge of subject(s)

SCHEDULING
- Prep time is freelance throughout academic term
- Most teaching is on weekends (occasionally weeknights)
- Prep sessions for midterms are 6-8 hours over one or two days
- Prep sessions for final exams are 10-12 hours over two or three days

REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in or completed graduate or medical degree preferred

- Previous teaching, tutoring or TA experience at university level is strongly preferred
- Dynamic and polished lecturing skills
- Excellent command of spoken English and outstanding communication skills
- Comfortable lecturing to 30+ students
SCHEDULING
- Prep courses run over ten weeks in summer (late May to late July)
- Classes on weekdays, weeknights and weekends
- Availability for entire ten weeks NOT required because each instructor only teaches portion of course for their subject(s)

We are looking for students to be part-time Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) Course Promoters. Your main objectives are to drive attendance to our free pre-med information seminars and generate interest in our MCAT prep courses.
Past MCAT Course Promoters have appreciated the opportunity to help fellow pre-med students on their journey to medical school and to network with like-minded individuals - all while gaining valuable work experience and making extra money.
Depending on the course of the pandemic, guidelines and rules at your university, and regulations by public health authorities, any tasks requiring you to work on campus will be discussed in advance and with your safety in mind.
The position pays $16/hour, and full training is provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote our free pre-med seminars and our MCAT prep courses on social media, Discord, WhatsApp (as applicable at your university)
- Promote our free pre-med seminars by flyers, posters, class announcements, chalkboarding (*depending on the pandemic)
- *Help run classroom seminars (speakers and classroom arranged by Prep101) by checking in attendees and providing excellent customer service (*depending on the pandemic)
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will possess most of the qualities below:
- Science major
- Knowledgeable about the MCAT (strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Extroverted with advanced social networking skills
- Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills
- Experience in sales, marketing, promotion, advertising or any retail-related setting (preferred but not required)
